Product Description

Cut from the top of the back, behind the ribs, the loin is one of the tenderest of cuts. They work particularly well in rosemary and garlic based homely recipies, and stunningly well with a garden mint marinade for a sharing platter. An essential barbeque item!

Our fresh lamb loin chops come in packs of either 500g, 1kg or 2.5kg and are available in a wide range of marinades.

Keep refrigerated below 4°C.

Cooking Instructions

Grill / BBQ

  • Pre-heat grill / BBQ.
  • Place lamb loin chops on the grill.
  • Cook on a medium/high heat for 10 minutes
  • Turn lamb loin chops and cook for a further 10 minutes.
  • Remove lamb loin chops and leave to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Oven

Instructions: 400°F-200°C/Fan 180°C/ Gas 6

  • Preheat oven.
  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and seal the lamb loin chops (2 minutes each side) on a high heat.
  • Transfer lamb loin chops to an over proof dish.
  • Oven cook the lamb loin chops on middle shelf for a further 10 minutes.
  • Remove lamb loin chops and leave to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Top Tip: For a super crispy finish, angle the chops (fat side up) and place under a high heat grill for a minute or two before serving.

Freezing Guidelines

  • Suitable for home freezing.
  • Freeze as soon as possible after purchase.

Defrosting

  • Defrost thoroughly.
  • Do not refreeze and use on same day once defrosted.
  • Do not cook from frozen.
