Pork Loin is one of the leanest of pork cuts.  The loin steak is effectively a pork chop with the bone and any attaching muscles removed; leaving only the finest, most tender cut of meat; the loin.  A very popular everyday cut.

Our fresh pork steaks are cut to approximately 4-6 oz (113-170g) and come in packs of either 500g, 1kg, or 2.5kg.



Keep refrigerated below 4°C.

Cooking Instructions

Oven (From Chilled): 350°F (180°C) , pre-heated, middle shelf.

Cooking guidelines vary on recipe. Refer to recipe for cooking guidelines.

  • 7oz Pork Chop
    • Roast for 35-45 minutes.
Top Tip: Pork loin steaks need to be cooked carefully to avoid being served dry, add a little stock gravy (which you can use for a rich gravy later) to the oven pan and loosely cover with foil to aid moisture retention. Avoid overcooking but ensure piping hot throughout before serving.

Freezing Guidelines

  • Suitable for home freezing.
  • Freeze as soon as possible after purchase.


  • Defrost thoroughly.
  • Do not refreeze and use on same day once defrosted.
  • Do not cook from frozen.
